INTERPRETATION
We offer several interpretation
techniques:
Consecutive: This technique is the ideal tool for meetings between a small number
of people.
During the speaker’s
intervention, the interpreter takes notes. When convenient, the interpreter
presents what has been said and then the speaker continues with what he or
she is saying.
Ad-hoc interpreting:
This technique is used for
informal exchanges (site visits, commercial negotiations, business meals,
etc.).
During a discussion, the interpreter
acts as a relay between the two languages.
Whispered interpreting: This technique is used during congresses and meetings.
The interpreter sits near one or two
participants and translates simultaneously in a low voice what the speaker is
saying.
These three techniques do not require
any special equipment (cabin, earphones, etc.)
